BUY BUY BUY!!!!!!!!

fabulous furs!
The D & A had these amazing arrangements throughout the show!
Me with Kara Weinstein, owner of the fabulous Prep Showroom

Until we meet again......

This was my first time buying in New York City for the store I currently work in. We attended the Designers & Agents show at the beautiful Starrett-Lehigh Building on the west side, and also ENK/Coterie at the Javitz Center. There was an overwhelming amount of vendors at both shows, so let's just say I had my work cut out for me!

Atlanta...Not just for those crazy housewives!!

The apparel mart
This is what a good showroom looks like

Trying on a little hat in one of the most amazing accessory showrooms!
Floral prints also popped up on silk printed dresses and rompers and flowy tops
We saw a lot of soft colors for spring and summer; nudes, whites, and pinks

I have been working at a boutique in South Florida for the past three years. My boss/the owner goes on many buying trips throughout the year and i have been privileged to go along with her to some of these shows. This is my second time going to Atlanta for a buy trip. Here are some pics of the apparel mart in Atlanta, which is actually like a huge mall that has tons of showrooms on every floor.

O' the joys of interning

Scraping the 5th Avenue Window

Holiday Window

I recently just finished a stint as a visual merchandising intern at Escada in New York City. It was a great learning experience, but it is where I learned that fashion isn't always GLAMOUROUS!!! These are pics of some of the work I did there.

Escada & Vogue

This event i helped produce was a promotional pitch for Escada & Vogue, it was held at the trendy Bunker Club in Meatpacking District of NYC

Black Swan

This was a visual merchandising activity. Our task was to create a stimulating window using a wide range of design techniques. We chose a promotional window with a black and white color scheme.
